Now that we have that out of the way, Lets talk about what you should do first. My suggestion would be, before you check into that rental, hit the grocery store. Even if your going to eat out all the time, you will still need things like Cream and sugar and coffee. Basic items. I suggest hitting either Publix or Lowes ( both found at the round about)
Next I would head over to our review section and scope out the local places to eat. During peak season the wait times can be 1 hour+ . In the review section you will be able to see our opinion, a menu and photos.
Local restaurants are awesome, but sometimes I just want Taco Bell. Everything you want / need can be found in the next town over, Shallotte. Pet Smart, Walmart, Walgreens, hell even Home depot can be found just down the road.
